Intensives and Internships!
Registration Opens February 1st.
Intensives are for ages 11+ or by invitation. Internships are for those entering middle school or by invitation.
Intensives focus on you, the dancer. Your own technique, musicality, body awareness, and stretch/strengthening will be addressed. Intensives focus on 1-2 techniques and culminate in a performance by the dancer.
Internships is a training program for dancers wishing to assist in classes for camp and in the next school year. Our new assistant program trains dancers in first proper demonstration, assisting with classroom needs such as shoe help, and eventually leads to student teaching with the ultimate goal being to take over their own class as an older teen.
Those seeking internship are asked to email Miriam directly between February 1st and May 1st. Internships do require at least 1 intensive (priced as listed) and 1 camp internship (no cost) plus a mandatory training week (no cost) this summer. Interns may take as many intensives and help with additional camps as space allows. See camp list above for full list of available internship weeks. Dancers must complete mandatory training before assisting as an intern (for example, we cannot have any Hogwarts interns due to no previous trainings available)
